Transformation appointments have ranged from a retail chain of 550 shops, a 200 nation-wide petrol station and convenience store franchise, a logistics company with 100 depot network, a drug discovery business with 100 research scientists, a 185 year old engineering group in UK, USA, China and India, through to public sector property maintenance and construction businesses. 10 transformations have been completed in the last 5 years, returning just under £300m to stakeholders with an average 6 fold increase in company profits and in the process helping protect over 7,500 jobs.
Turnaround experiences are balanced with growth based engagements. MCR has also founded and led the start-up of diverse businesses from chemical coatings to software development. The most recent was the development of a software & BPO business which was established as a strategic supplier to a number of blue chip financial services organisations. In the last year a fast growth sports nutrition business has been added to the growth challenges.
